Olbia

Olbia, in the region of Sassari, is situated in the north-eastern part of Sardinia and it is the biggest city in Gallura. It is said that was the son of Ercole the one who built the first human village along the coast in the VII century b.C.; but the first urban center was founded by Phoenicians. In Olbia there are both the touristic port, where ferries arrive from many locations from the Italian peninsula, and functioning airport. The coastal area of the city is approximately 100 km long and it is loved by tourists for beautiful beaches and wonderful cliffs. In the northern part of Olbia lies Costa Smeralda, well-known resort location. Port of Olbia departures and arrivals: Genoa, Livorno, Piombino, Civitavecchia and Arbatax. Sailing companies that offer connection to Olbia are: Moby Lines, Tirrenia and Grimaldi Lines.

Come raggiungere il porto di Olbia

By car: from the south of Sardinia (ex. From Nuoro) on the road SS 131; from north (ex. From Palau) on the route SS 127. From there continue to the port. By train: the distance between the train station and the port is approximately 5 km. By plane: distance 5 km, reachable by taxi or bus.
