Tunis, state capital of Tunisia, is a city located in northern Africa. Born as a village just before Cartagena, became state capital in 1159 for the will of Almohadi dynasty. The city is situated on the banks of a lagoon linked to Mediterranean sea by a navigable canal that reach the anterior port of La Goulette.
